Have you heard of the “five love languages?” It’s a book and a new concept to me, and my friend Morgan and I discussed it the other night.
Basically, the author, Gary Chapman, says are five basic love languages – five ways to express love emotionally. “Each person has a primary love language that we must learn to speak if we want that person to feel loved,” he says.
So without reading the book yet or doing a bunch of online quizzes, I checked out this simple grid below and shared it with my husband.
For me, I’m the “acts of service.” Actions speak louder than words for me. That’s the primary way I know I’m loved.
What about you?
